What we install
From a single new wall to a full basement, the work covers hanging, taping and finishing drywall.
- Basement walls and ceilings
- New walls and ceilings when you change a layout
- Replacement board after water or impact damage
Taping and finishing
Hanging the board is only half the job. Each seam, screw and corner then needs tape and thin coats of joint compound, sanded smooth between coats.
A closet can take a simpler finish than a living room wall under bright side light. Your quote names the finish we plan, so you know what to expect before paint.
Wood and steel studs
Most houses have wood framing, while many condos and some basements use steel studs. Both take drywall, but the screws and the backing for heavy fixtures differ.
Tell us where shelves, cabinets or a TV will hang, so backing goes in before the wall closes.
Schedule and cleanup
Drywall work runs in stages, because each coat of compound needs time to dry. Your quote sets out the visits, and we tidy the work area at the end of each day.
Once the walls are finished, interior painting and flooring installation can follow in the same space.

Do you do basements?
Yes, basement walls and ceilings are part of our drywall work. Damp spots and the framing need a look before any board goes up. Tell us about the space, and we’ll plan the work with you.
Do you tape and mud board someone else hung?
Yes, as long as the board is hung soundly. We check the screws, joints and corners first, because taping can’t fix loose or badly cut board. Your quote lists any fixes needed before taping starts.
How long does a basement take?
It depends on the size, the ceiling and the finish you want. Each coat of compound needs to dry, so the work runs over several visits. Your quote sets out the schedule before work starts.
Do you remove debris?
Your quote says how we deal with offcuts and old board. When disposal is part of the job, it appears as its own line.
Can you add support for shelves before putting up drywall?
Yes, you can tell us where you want shelves or cabinets. We plan support behind the wall before closing it.
