Removing popcorn texture can expose cracked seams or damaged board. Your quote separates removal, repairs, smoothing and painting. For a wall patch, the support behind it matters. Some walls also need fire or sound protection. We explain how the repaired area will retain that protection. You will know exactly which finish the quote includes.

The work
Before work begins, we cover and protect the room. Leaks and weak areas need attention before new board covers them. Then we repair seams and smooth the surfaces listed in your quote. You can review any change before work continues. At the end, we clear away the dust and debris so the room is ready to use.

A final walk-through
Once it is done, we look over the finished wall or ceiling with you under the room lights. Patches may need wider blending to sit well beside older finishes. We show you whether the area is ready for primer or paint. Any separate painting is clear before work begins. A leak that keeps coming back may still need its own repair.

Can you repair drywall while the leak is active?
